Aguero admits Man City hat-trick goal vs Arsenal was handball

Manchester City’s hat-trick hero Sergio Aguero admits his third goal against Arsenal was handball, but said it was not intentional  Aguero bundled home a Raheem Sterling cross in the second half that came off Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno into the sliding frontman’s left arm  But as Aguero’s arm was not in an unnatural position and he could not have been expected to move away, referee Martin Atkinson awarded the goal to City despite protests from Arsenal’s players  And after the game Aguero admitted the ball did come off his arm, rather than his chest as he first thought  He told Sky Sports: “I’m very happy [with the hat-trick] but the most important was the win  “I honestly think it was the chest but now I saw on the TV it was a handball.”  Midfielder Fernandinho was also being interviewed by Sky, and said the referee made the right decision  He added: “It was a great decision. It doesn’t matter.”  Aguero continued, and stressed the importance of the win for City after dropping points against Newcastle, and ahead of two big fixtures against Everton and Chelsea this week  He said: “It’s important to win because the other day we score early and then we lose but today I’m very happy  “It’s important to fight every game. Now we have to think about Everton because it will be so difficult ”
