Eric Husselbaugh totaled nine points as the
Bridgewater College men’s lacrosse team got an important 15-14 ODAC victory at Shenandoah. After Connor McLean struck twice in the first
quarter, Husselbaugh scored twice in a 67-second span to make it 5-nothing with 1:29 left in
the first. The Hornets edged to within three, 7-4, midway
through the second quarter. Husselbaugh answered immediately with a crease
dive despite a pushing flag on the play. Husselbaugh opened the third quarter scoring
as well, and assisted Sean MacLeish’s goal with six minutes left in the third that pushed
the Eagles’ lead to 14-6. The Hornets would get it back to within a
goal late however. Jay Baker got a decent look to tie the game
with 36 seconds left, but Hunter Bagby made the clinching low save
