City of Harrisburg will defend gun laws in court this week


PEOPLE ON THE TRAIN WERE KILLED. SMOKE WAS SEEN POURING OUT OF THE RAILCAR AND THE WINDOWS WERE BLACKENED. THE TRAIN LEFT GRAND CENTRAL STATION 45 MINUTES EARLY. THE CITY OF HARRISBURG WILL BE IN COURT THIS WEEK DEPENDING — DEFENDING THEIR GUN LAWS. JIM SINKOVITZ WITH THE UPDATE. ATTORNEYS WILL BE IN DAUPHIN COUNTY COURT ON FRIDAY. THE FIRST ORGANIZATION TO FILE SUIT AGAINST HARRISBURG’S GUN ORDINANCES. THEY WILL BE ASKING FOR A JUDGE FOR A PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION TO SUSPEND THE GUN LAWS. UNTIL THE COURT BESIDES THE MAJOR ISSUES AND BESIDES THE LAW LAWSUIT ON THE MERIT. THE CITY LAWYERS WILL FIGHT THE INJUNCTION AND TWO SEPARATE LAWSUITS THAT CAME ABOUT AFTER THE STATE LEGISLATURE AND THE GOVERNOR ALLOWED ORGANIZATIONS TO CHALLENGE LOCAL GUN LAWS. THE CITY ARGUES THE GUN LAWS FOR HARRISBURG ARE REASONABLE AND PROTECTS CITIZENS. WE ARE NOT HERE TO ARGUE IF THEY ARE A GOOD IDEA OR A BAD IDEA. WE WERE ARGUING THAT THEY WERE THE ACTING IMPROPERLY. CITY COUNCILMAN BELIEVES THAT THE CITY HAS THE DUTY TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST CHANGES IN THE LAWS. EVEN TEMPORALLY. TO HAVE THIS PUSHBACK FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OR EVEN IN THE COUNTY — IS, IS A CONCERN. IN HARRISBURG, JIM SINKOVITZ, NEWS 8. HARRISBURG IS JOINING WITH OTHER CITIES, INCLUDING
