Best tennis video I have ever seen. Transformed my serve. Thank you.
There are so many beginners, especially adults, who couldn't care less about their proper form in serves (or even ground strokes). For them, it all boils down to attending a few basic training sessions with the goal in mind that they could quickly get into the tournament environment even if their forms do not look good or skills are amiss. Now, if the students only want to learn the basics, they are missing out on learning the small, but vital, steps and concepts. Most of all, bad form = more prone to injuries. But there are coaches that will have to live with what their customers prefer or risk losing a student or a club membership in general.
Bruh talk about changing lives haha, best serve teaching video ever 👏🏽👏🏽
This coach is so good!
This is the very best explanation about serve I've ever heard or seen.Brilliant!!
Thanks…. This is such a clear and simple explanation. It really helps to break it down to its simplest level and shows what I've been doing logically but wrongly.
That was the best explanation. Great job.
I liked the video very much and I feel this technique will help me to improve my late shots
My first teacher years back didn't teach us to do anything other than use continental grip. Certainly didn't teach us about pronation of follow through foot placement. Just basically to get a good direction in and worry about power later. You can't even get good power if you're hitting it like a pancake !
Awesome. I'm going to work on it. 💪🏼
very intuitive explanation. Now that I know that whats wrong and why its wrong, I should be to improve my serve much faster.
I wish I found you yesterday. I spent three hours yesterday working on my serve only to eventually get to this conclusion in my technique . My arms are mad sore.
I can't thank you enough!
Great explanation! My problem is the footwork and when to go up and hit the serve. Sometimes it's like I am jumping up at the ball, then other times I hit the ball over top of it. I've used the Western grip for serves for years, but I will start using the Continental. I usually use the Continental as a 2nd serve as a spin serve…I probably should just practice what you should though from now on.
great simple explanation..thank you
Perfect tennis teacher. Every information you give us is so helpful. Everything seems so natural using simple logic.
15:30 U actually have to practice hahahahah LOL))
Wow, this has to be best tenis serve tutorial ever. Helped me so much
Great assistance. Love the vids but the pro's use much, much heavier raquets than club players. This , as you know , has a HUGE influence on all strokes. Maybe a vid explaining and promoting this please ?
And use a heavier raquet too !
It works for me even though I play wheelchair tennis
Very lucid , thanks!!!
Best one by far
Feel Tennis instructions are better than Tennis for Dummies. It breaks down better tennis understanding to the lowest common denominator. Where were these guys when I was in my 20s and had perfect working knees? With Feel Tennis instructions I would have totally overhauled my game and been a beast on the court.
Hi Thomas, This is the best video about server I have ever seen. Thank you very much
High school coach had entire team throwing rackets straight overhead using continental grip. Big contest to see who could fling it highest. Then he introduced balls.
Great!!! This is the best tutorial video bout serving skill improvement from beginner to advanced player. I have never seen this kind of explanation and I thank you very much. I now have better understanding how to serve. Other people also lectured well, but in the way that were kind of hard to imply with my level. But your video is totlly what I can do. Thanks again
I cried watching this. I've been playing for 42 years with a badminton racket and just noticed that tennis rackets are different.
It's very clear, I've got it, just practice it, thanks!
Thank you I get it now finally
maybe your best viddy
I’m a teaching pro for 35 years and still play at the 5.0 level and extremely appreciate the quality of instruction provided by the excellent pro. Great job.
Great , simple explanation. For weeks I've been "Hammering" a serve with no direction or consistent net clearance. Now I know why. 👍👍
The pronation excersices = masturbation
I started learning how to serve three years ago. I've practiced more than 100000serves so far. Now I jump when making a serve. I pronate when hitting the ball. But I still struggle at first serve. It seems like a huge waste of time to try to make my serves better. So hard and exhausting.
This amazing lesson is far much lightning the way we give power to our serve than the usual chronology of the serve.
I watched about 5 minutes of this and learned more about serving than hours of other videos!
1:41 and 2:25 are the things you want to see.
If you can smash in Badminton, you can easily serve in tennis. same technique like smashing in badminton and grip is same too. If I m not wrong.
Server is not hard in execution is hard in make sure the opponent don't use it against you because it is telegraphed so the opponent can use it easy unless you make it super hard to use there is when it become hard.
15:30 literally me all summer
Thank you. But when you are not looking at the court when you hit the ball, how do you control the angle?
it took so much years that i realize these facts in the court.. wish i had found that video years ago..
I dunno why I'm watching this coz I've never played tennis in my entire life, but great insight bro
Am I alone hear that the guy is from Eastern Europe by accent?))
Never played tennis in my life, but this video is really interesting
Great tutorial but it needed an explanation as to why the pros favour the continental serve over the forward facing serve
NOT EVERYONE STARTS SERVING LIKE THAT, MY FRIEND. IF YOU ARE GOOD TO SPORTS, YOU HAVE COMMON SENSE AND START DOING ANY SPORT BETTER THAN YOU THINK.
BTW You are serving (12 o'clock serving) and that's for your second serving. WRONG!
Probably the reason why I gave up tennis😅.
After some years I’m gonna take it back, I like it so much and I was good at the rest of the movements.
Why did they not teach this in High School
I always sucked at service
Great video. I serve really well but had never thought about all this stuff.. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ive been playing a ton of table tennis, they're so similar but so different. Now I know how to serve in tennis haha.
Beautiful landscape! Is this in Slovenia or the Czech Republic? Could be Austria or Germany too but you seem to have an eastern european accent. Great video by the way, thanks a lot!
Serve is Easy for me!
It's quite similar to the clear in badminton. It was hard for me to adjust my aim when turning the racket to use pronation
When you click on a title but the intro starts of with saying the most obvious things ever with the simple serve.
Milos? From Seinfeld.
it actually makes a lot of sense in badminton as well, as racket swing is similar as tennis serve. I would even recommend this video to badminton beginners to understand how and why we hit the shuttle that way
Serve is difficult but there are more difficult strokes, like volley and reverse smash
The best serve video ever!! Thank you
This is excellent! Thank you.
Aim the cars !! ^^
I'll try this next time against my friends, they will be so angry if I do it right🤣🤣
Hands down the best tennis instructor in youtube.
If you have a high athletic floor, in addition to some background in any other sport that requires throwing overhand, serving will become and remain easy. If not, it will always be a struggle, relative to those others I just mentioned.
Bruh you are a genius explaining things!!
“Another game for Milosh!”
Serves are hard because of the fricking service squares
Too much talking about same things.
Best tutorial about the serve I've ever seen
I can't imagine a better teacher than that. You are simply great.
Good insight, but i think its very important that you point out that pronating with such speed without the follow through you did just 3 times, tennis elbow is just around the corner, so watch out guys!
I always found having a consistent toss being the most difficult part.
Not at all difficult if you ask Nick kyrgios
Great video, never actually heard of this when I was training for tennis until now. Thank you
It isn’t difficult.
Excellent analysis and implementation!
This was the best serve video I've watched so far. Thank You!
I wish I had you for a tennis instructor so many years ago. I might still be enjoying this wonderful sport.
I always hate serving in tennis…..until I watched this video.
I also have been playing tennis for a long time. When was younger I was a 4.7 player, which is a pretty good club player. My serve was not bad. Not great, but decent I thought. Watching this video I realize that I was doing it all wrong all these years! I was making all the mistakes he talks about. I was trying to use a continental grip, but not really. And I tried to put spin on the ball but not really. I was doing what he told me people do, pushing with my shoulders, directing the serve, flat serve result. I got pretty good at doing it wrong! This video is the first video that makes me instantly visualize how to do it right! I wish I had seen this video 40 years ago! Never the less, at age 66 this video makes me want to learn a proper serve! I will try! As an aside, i realize everything he is saying also applies to the overhead smash, which is why my overhead never proceeded beyond "barely passable".
Indian clubs are a great way to increase wrist and forearm strength. Also great for strengthening and loosening up the shoulders.
This is the best lesson I've ever found. Thanks !!!
wish I had a teacher like this when I was a young player! such a good break down of why tennis serve is executed like it is
Omg there is korean sub !!! Thx mate !!!
no wonder my shoulder is always sore lol. hitting it hard without knowing about this
Mucho Hvala. This is the only explanation which helped my hija to kill her pan serve!!!
Amazing! You are Great!
Really a Great video. Thank You because i understand because i don t use The pronation in My serve. Fantastic words And magnific exercices To improve our serve
Nice, thank you
Cant wait to leave office and practice this serve technique.
